When Lending Club updated their website, I noticed that Rate Ladder’s screenshots looked different from mine. This was discussed in the comments on RateLadder’s blog. Kevin removed all the comments on his blog so I can’t follow up on this issue there, so I’ll have to post the explanation here…

Several weeks ago, I received a response from Rob Garcia at Lending Club about my question on the differences in screenshots. The bottom part of the Account Summary screen disappears when money is being transfered into Lending Club. This is because money in the process of transferring is not in “Available Cash” yet, so it would look like you are short funds while the money transfers. Therefore, the bottom of the screen disappears while the money transfers.

Maybe I’ll add a screenshot later, but for now just check out the screen posted at Rate Ladder versus the one I originally posted. (I did not trim the bottom part of my screen off in that screen capture.) My screen now looks like Rate Ladder’s now that my funds transfered.
